Applications are invited from Pakistani and Foreign Nationals for admissions to BS/ M.Phil/ Ph.D Programmes of studies for Fall Semester 2026 (please visit www.qau.edu.pk)
Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad, in coordination with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, is pleased to announce the conduct of a dedicated Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) exclusively for candidates who have applied or intend to apply for admission to QAU but could not register for the USAT in the current/ongoing test slots.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed/ completed HSSC exams or passed HSSC part-1 exams / A-Level or equivalent examination.
This would be 1st chance for those candidates who had NOT registered for HEC and would be 2nd chance for those who have already registered for the USAT (if they feel to attempt again)
Candidates who wish to seek admission in undergraduate programmes offered at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.

How to Apply?
The candidates are advised to select the test categories that best match their subject for admissions. Please note that once a test subject category selected, it cannot be changed at later stage.
Visit https://etc.hec.gov.pk/#/webpage for online registration. In case any difficulty during online registration, please visit https://onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk/
Kindly check your personal details such as name, CNIC no., Cell no. before submitting your application. Candidates will not be allowed to sit in the test if there is any difference in CNIC number and application data.
Candidates must use their own CNIC / B.Form No. for registration. Using the CNIC Nos. of parents, siblings, relative or any individual will not be permitted for the test.
Test fee will be submitted 1link / 1Bill invoice payment with the generated consumer number through online banking apps.
After depositing the fee through 1link/1Bill invoice, candidates may click on “Verify Payment” on ETC profile dashboard and submit the application.
Test Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Test will be conducted in the major cities. Applicant carefully select the test city from the available list. Test city will not be changed after completion of the registration process. However, ETC may assign another test center if minimum 250 applicants are not available in the selected test center.
No request for Fee refund and Test Center Change will be entertained at any stage.
Applicants will be able to download the Roll No. Slips from their profiles at https://etc.hec.gov.pk/#/webpage a week before the test.
A print out of Roll No. Slip, Original CNIC will be required for verification at test center on test day. Under 18 years candidates, who are not issued CNIC from NADRA, must bring the B.Form along with Original SSC/HSSC Certificate with picture identity.
Electronic gadgets such as mobile phone, calculators, recording devices, earphones or imaging devices are Not Allowed inside the test center. Moreover, taking, uploading or sharing images of the question book is strictly prohibited and an offence liable to punishment as per the ETC rules.
NOTE: The USAT passed result is mandatory for admission to undergraduate programmes at QAU.
