How to Apply for the Honhaar Scholarship 2026
Step 1: Register on the Portal
Open the official portal and click “Login”. Then create an account with your nationality, province, institute, university, CNIC, email and password. Some practical points from the guide:
- Use your own valid CNIC. Using someone else’s CNIC leads to disqualification.
- Enter the CNIC without spaces or dashes.
- The password must contain at least 6 alphanumeric characters.
- If you see a “CNIC already exists” message, do not create a new account. Go to the sign-in page and log in.
After you press Submit, the next screen shows your username and password. Save them, because you will need them to log back in.
Step 2: Log In
Sign in with your credentials and enter the captcha. If a wrong-password or captcha error keeps appearing, the portal suggests using a private or incognito browser window.
Step 3: Complete the Application Tabs
The Student Portal has six tabs: Eligibility, Personal Detail, Address, Education, Documents and Review. Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory.
- Eligibility: Read the criteria, download the sample affidavit, then click Next.
- Personal Detail: Enter your name, father’s or guardian’s name, gender, religion, mobile number, institute and university. Add your admission and degree details, date of birth, domicile and family monthly income. Upload your photograph. Select dates from the calendar rather than typing them.
- Address: Add your mailing address, and tick the box if your permanent address is the same.
- Education: Enter your Matric and Intermediate details, including programme title, institute, discipline, obtained marks and total marks.
- Documents: Upload all the required documents listed above.
- Review: Check every detail carefully.
Press “Save and Continue” after each tab to store your progress.
Step 4: Submit the Application
The Review page warns that you cannot edit your application once you click Submit. Check everything first, then submit. A confirmation message reads “Thank you for applying in Honhaar Scholarship!” The guide stresses that submission is mandatory for your application to be considered.
After submission, an application ID is generated and your status is displayed. You can also print and save the application form.
Honhaar Scholarship Help Desk
If you face problems during the process, the official guide lists these contacts:
- Help Desk: https://honhaarscholarship.punjabhec.gov.pk/queries/users/index.php
- Phone: 042-99231903-4 (09:00 AM to 05:00 PM)
- Email: complainthonhaar@punjabhec.gov.pk
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use another person’s CNIC.
- Do not upload blurry documents or files above 200 KB.
- Do not skip the final Submit button. Saving alone does not complete your application.
- Do not enter false information. The review page states that false or misleading details may lead to disqualification or revocation of the scholarship.
