The Child Protection & Welfare Bureau (CPWB), Punjab has announced vacancies for Nurse, Accountant, Religious Teacher, Dispenser and Child Attendant. The bureau is an autonomous body under the administrative control of the Home Department, Government of Punjab. It is hiring suitable Pakistani nationals of Punjab province. Qualification and Experience for Each Post
Nurse: A three-year diploma in nursing from a government-recognized institute, plus a one-year diploma in midwifery registered with the Pakistan Nursing Council. Knowledge of MS Office is preferred.
Accountant: B.Com (14 years of education) in 2nd Division from an HEC-recognized university, with two years of relevant experience in a public sector organization. Knowledge of MS Office is preferred.
Religious Teacher: Higher Secondary School Certificate (2nd Division) from a recognized board, a certificate of Hifz-ul-Quran, and at least two years of relevant experience in a government-recognized school.
Dispenser: Secondary School Certificate (2nd Division) from a recognized board, plus a dispenser diploma from the Punjab Medical & Midwifery Faculty. At least one year of relevant experience is required. Knowledge of MS Office is preferred.
Child Attendant: Secondary School Certificate (2nd Division) from a recognized board. Preference goes to candidates with two years of experience in child care, supervision, rehabilitation or welfare of children. The experience must be from a government, semi-government, autonomous or private institution registered with a government regulatory body.
Age Limit and Domicile
Age limits differ by post, as shown in the table above. The cut-off date for calculating age is the last date for submitting online applications. Age relaxation will be given as per Punjab Government policy. Only Pakistani nationals of Punjab province can apply.
How to Apply for Child Protection Jobs
- Visit the NTS website (www.nts.org.pk) and apply online. The fee submission details are available there.
- Pay the written test fee of Rs. 550. It is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Pay the fee at 1Link 1Bill participating banks, ATMs, internet banking, mobile banking, Easypaisa, Jazz Cash or TCS Express counters.
- Print the online-generated application form.
- Attach two recent passport-size photographs, an attested copy of your CNIC, and your domicile, educational testimonials and experience certificate.
- Make sure the hard copy reaches the NTS Lahore office (201, FF Block, CCA, Phase IV, DHA, Lahore) within the due date.
The advertisement warns that the application may be rejected if the hard copies do not reach the NTS office in time.
Important Instructions
- Applications sent directly to the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau will not be entertained.
- Candidates already serving in government, autonomous or semi-autonomous institutions or attached departments should apply through proper channel.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for interviews and tests.
