Applications are invited from qualified, dynamic, and dedicated professionals for appointment as Principals (on contract basis for three (03) years, extendable for a further two (02) years subject to satisfactory performance) and Teachers (on contract basis for three (03) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance) for Daanish Schools at Bagh and Chakar (AJK) and Ghizer, Astore, and Skardu (Gilgit-Baltistan). The appointments will be on contract basis, non-pensionable, and carry no eligibility to be given pension. Applications shall be submitted ONLINE ONLY through the Education Testing Council (ETC). Applicants from all over the country including Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are eligible to apply for the post(s) subject to open merit.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS / SELECTION PROCEDURE
- Non-Pakistani nationals shall not be eligible for appointment.
- Principal appointed by the Authority shall be liable to serve in any Daanish School anywhere in Pakistan, as may be determined by the Competent Authority.
- Only shortlisted candidates based on qualification and experience will be called for interview.
- No TA/DA shall be admissible for interview/test.
- The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts, withhold appointment against any advertised post, or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
- The recruitment process will be conducted through the Education Testing Council (ETC), Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Candidates shall apply ONLINE ONLY through the ETC-HEC online application portal. No hard copy application shall be accepted, processed, or entertained directly by the ETC-HEC.
- Candidates shall follow the instructions, terms and conditions, document upload requirements, and test-related directions displayed on the ETC-HEC portal. Applicants are advised to regularly visit the ETC / HEC portal and the Ministry, Daanish Schools Authority website for all updates, test scheduling, result announcements, and other relevant contents.
- Serving Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous Body employees shall apply through proper channel and shall produce NOC at the time of interview from their respective appointing authority.
- The last date for submission of online applications shall be fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
HOW TO APPLY
- Interested candidates can apply online by registering themselves on etc.hec.gov.pk. The registration process must be completed by pressing the “SUBMIT” button for the online application before the 4 PM deadline of registration closing date given on the portal.
- Incomplete profile creation, inaccurate profile status, or incomplete details entered will lead to application rejection. All mandatory profile details within the portal must be completed, or application will not be processed.
- Application received by hand or through courier/postal service shall not be accepted / entertained.
- The candidates should make sure before applying for the examination/test that they are eligible in all respects for the post applied for.
- In case of any difficulty during the online registration, please visit etc.hec.gov.pk or visit HEC Secretariat or contact HEC Regional Offices for guidance.
- Carefully check your personal details, such as name, CNIC number, roll number, etc., before submitting your application. Candidates will not be allowed to change personal information / email/ cell number once submitted in profiles.
- Candidates who have registered/applied on the portal, on the basis of their profile, details, eligibility, credentials, and information given, will be called to take the test.
- Duly SUBMITTED applications will be considered. Applications in INCOMPLETE status will not be entertained.
- A fee of Rs. 1,000/- shall be paid through the 1Link / 1Bill Invoice Payment Service using the generated consumer number.
- After generating the fee through 1Link, make payment online or via 1Link/Online Payment on ETC Dashboard.
- Paid fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- SMS notification will be sent on the registered applicant’s mobile number/data time to time. Candidates are required to provide active mobile contact number while submitting their online application form. SMS shall not be sent to the mobile numbers that have been converted from one network operator to another.
- The candidate must submit online applications on/before the closure of the web registration portal. Candidate complaints regarding beyond the registration deadline to download/submit by system/technical problems/faults will not be entertained.
- Taking a photo or carrying recording device, smartphones, or capturing photo/video inside test center premises and/or uploading or sharing the images of question book is strictly prohibited and an offense punishable under the ETC / HEC rules.
Note: Roll No Slip shall be generated/issued on HEC portal, and information will be conveyed via email/SMS. Candidates can download Roll No Slip from candidate portal, otherwise roll number slip shall not be dispatched via postal service.
