UHS offers three programs. You can choose according to your career goals.
Diploma in Medical Writing & Journalism (Dip-MWJ) – Batch I
This is the most detailed program.
Duration: 1 Year and 3 Months
Course Structure:
Module 1: Certificate in Medical Editing (CME) – 6 Months
Module 2: Certificate in Medical Journalism for Editors (CMJE) – 6 Months
Module 3: Final Research Report – 3 Months
This diploma will train you to become a professional medical editor and writer.
Certificate in Medical Editing (CME) – Batch VIII
This course is good for people who want to manage medical journals.
Duration: 6 Months
You will learn:
Copy editing
Managing peer review
Editorial decision making
Using Open Journal System (OJS)
Certificate in Medical Journalism for Editors (CMJE) – Batch IV
This is an advanced course.
Duration: 6 Months
Important: You must complete CME before applying for CMJE.
