Qualification for Teaching Posts
Professor (BPS-21)
- PhD in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or institution.
- Either 15 years of teaching or research experience, or 10 years of post-PhD teaching or research experience. The experience may be in an HEC-recognized university, a post-graduate institution, or professional work in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
- 15 research publications in HEC-recognized journals, with at least 5 in the last 5 years.
Associate Professor (BPS-20)
- PhD in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or institution.
- Either 10 years of teaching or research experience, or 5 years of post-PhD experience, under the same experience types as above.
- 10 research publications in HEC-recognized journals, with at least 4 in the last 5 years.
Assistant Professor (BPS-19)
- PhD in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or institution.
Lecturer (BPS-18)
- First-class MS, MPhil or equivalent degree, awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or institution.
- No 3rd division in the academic career. This condition does not apply to a candidate who holds a higher degree such as a PhD, provided there is not more than one 3rd division in the entire academic career.
Qualification for Non-Teaching Posts
- Assistant Estate Care/Security Officer (BPS-16): Intermediate or equivalent with at least 2nd division from a recognized board, or a higher degree. The notice also mentions a police officer not below the rank of Sub-Inspector with at least 15 years of security experience in a large organization, or an ex-military person not below the rank of JCO.
- Computer Assistant (BPS-14): Intermediate or equivalent with at least 2nd division from a recognized board. A typing speed of 40 words per minute and a computer course certificate are required.
- Photographer (BS-11): Secondary School Certificate with Science and at least 2nd division, plus seven years of experience in exposing, developing, enlarging and printing photographs in a commercial establishment or a reputable or recognized scientific institution.
- Lab. Attendant (BPS-01): Secondary School Certificate with Science from a recognized board.

The bank draft must be in favor of the Treasurer, PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi.
For BS-1 to 16, the age limit is 18 to 35 years. For BS-17 and above, the minimum age is 21 years. The age limit does not apply to candidates applying through proper channel.

Candidates who applied against earlier advertisements with last dates of 08.01.2021, 20.10.2021, 20.04.2022 and 26.09.2022 do not need to apply again. They may send updated applications with documents, without a new fee.
Important Conditions
- Government, semi-government and autonomous body employees must produce an NOC from their employer.
- Quotas apply where applicable: 15% for women, 5% for minorities and 3% for disabled persons.
- Posts in Veterinary, Agri. Engineering and Engineering fields require registration with the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council or the Pakistan Engineering Council.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, and no TA/DA will be paid.
- The university may fill, withhold or change the number of posts, and may consider applications on a regular, contract or lump sum basis.
